5-Step Ritual Process
The 5-Step Ritual Process
A complete, line-by-line walkthrough of every stage of the love spell ritual. What happens, what you do, what I do, what to expect, and when. Nothing hidden, nothing skipped.
How Our Love Spell Ritual Works: A Full Breakdown of Every Step
From the first free consultation to the 30-day aftercare, every part of the love spell ritual follows a documented, spiritually grounded sequence developed over 24 years of practice.
The Sacred Consultation
Every love spell ritual I have ever performed began with the same twenty minutes — and so will yours. This is where I find out if I can help you, and where you find out if you trust me.
The consultation is not a sales call. It is the foundation. We talk through your situation in plain language. You tell me who, what, when, and what you hope will happen. I listen without judgment — I have heard every story love can tell.
Opening invocation
I light a candle at my altar and speak a short blessing to the spirits before the call begins. You will not hear it — but it is the reason these calls feel different.
Your story, your words
I ask you to tell me what is happening in your own voice. No script. No leading questions. Just the truth, in the order it occurs to you.
Clarifying questions
I ask twelve to twenty specific questions about timing, energy, third parties, and history. Every answer informs the casting plan that follows.
Honest assessment
I tell you, on the call, whether the work is right for you. If it is not, I say so directly and refer you to therapy, mediation, or another tradition.
What you do not pay for
No payment is taken on this call. Ever. I will not even ask for a card number. If we proceed, payment happens in the next step — only after you receive a written quote.
Cowrie Shell Divination
Before any casting is agreed, the shells must speak. This is the only part of the process that happens without you on the line — because the answer must come from the spirits, not from what either of us wants to hear.
After the consultation, I retreat to my altar. I cast sixteen cowrie shells onto a beaded mat, read the pattern they fall in, and consult the corresponding Odu of the Ifá divination system — the sacred verses of West African Yoruba spiritual tradition that have guided this practice for centuries.
The shells are thrown three times
The first throw asks: is this work possible? The second: which orisha will preside? The third: which casting and which timing is correct?
The Odu is consulted
I read the verse the pattern points to. Each verse contains specific guidance — sometimes a green light, sometimes a warning, sometimes a redirect.
A written reading is prepared
I write up what the shells revealed — your timeline, your obstacles, the casting we will use, the moon phase to time it to, and the total cost in materials and labor.
You receive it within 24 hours
The full reading and casting plan arrives in your inbox by the next morning. You take whatever time you need to decide. There is no pressure.
Ritual Preparation
Now the hands work. Once you approve the plan and pay, I begin preparing your materials by hand. This stage is invisible to most clients — but it is what separates a real love spell ritual from theater.
Every ingredient is sourced from suppliers I have used for two decades. Honey is wildflower from Texas. Rose petals are dried whole on a wooden rack in my workroom. Candles are dressed in oils I press myself from the herbs in your reading.
Materials are gathered
I assemble the specific herbs, oils, candles, and personal items the reading called for. Nothing is purchased pre-blended or pre-dressed.
Personal items are integrated
Photos, written intentions, names, and dates of birth are inscribed onto parchment and placed alongside the ritual materials.
Materials are blessed and charged
I sing the appropriate songs over the materials for three consecutive evenings before the casting, in alignment with the moon phase chosen.
The space is cleansed
On the morning of the casting, I cleanse the altar with white sage, palo santo, and water from the Atlantic, in that exact order.
The Casting
The moment everything has been building toward. The love spell ritual casting happens at my altar, alone, between sunset and sunrise on the specific night the shells indicated — with photographic evidence of every stage.
I do not casually walk through this work. The casting room is closed to everyone, all phones go silent, and the only sound is the chanting and the candle flame. The ritual follows a precise order — break the order, lose the work.
Opening of the gate
I invoke the orisha presiding over your casting, name the ancestors, and open the spiritual channel between the altar and the target.
The petition is spoken aloud
Your written intention is read into the flame. The names — yours and the target’s — are spoken seven times each in the appropriate order.
The binding work
The materials are assembled into the binding object — a honey jar, a tied parchment, a sealed candle. Photos are taken at each stage.
Sealing and offering
The work is sealed with red wax and placed at the foot of the altar. An offering of fruit and water is given in thanks.
Closing of the gate
The orisha is dismissed with thanks. The candle is allowed to burn down naturally — sometimes for hours.
Your private client portal
Photographs of every stage of the love spell ritual casting are uploaded to your private, password-protected portal within 24 hours of completion. You see everything I did.
Aftercare & Sealing
Most practitioners disappear after the casting. I do the opposite. The thirty days that follow a love spell ritual are where good work becomes great — and where unfinished work gets finished.
You will hear from me every seven days. We will compare what you have been feeling, what you have been dreaming, and what — if anything — has happened on the other side. If movement is slower than expected, we adjust.
Week 1 · Energy check
We compare notes on what you are noticing — dreams, emotions, synchronicities. Most clients feel the shift in the first 7 — 10 days.
Week 2 · First contact watch
This is when targets typically reach out for the first time. I coach you on how to respond — what to say, what not to say, what tone to use.
Week 3 · Stabilization rite
I perform a smaller stabilization rite at the altar to lock in the gains. You receive a photo and an audio recording of the chant.
Week 4 · Sealing & release
The original casting object is unwrapped, sealed permanently, and either buried or kept at the altar in perpetuity, depending on the working.
The recast promise
If, by day 30, you have not seen meaningful movement, the love spell ritual is repeated at no additional cost. If the second casting also fails, the labor portion of your fee is fully refunded. That has happened seven times in twenty-four years.
The free twenty-minute call is how every love spell ritual starts.
If the shells say yes, we move to step two. If they say no, you walk away with a clear answer and no obligation. Learn more about our ethics and safety promise or read about our full approach to how it works.
